This is gonna come out, probably, wrong, but is it because you're not lovable? Do you think that Charlyne believes in love even though she says she doesn't?
I thought he was all dark and mysterious and he had shadows under his eyes.
You're probably thinking, "Is this how Charlyne really is?
Q: Wait, if you work for Canadian Amazon you have to deliver packages? Q: When you say “defeat” her evil exes, does that mean he just has to beat them in a fight, or does he have to kill them? Q: The last video game that I played was Pitfall on the Atari 2600.
Scott orders a package and waits for it to be delivered by Ramona so he can ask her out on a date. Anyway, Ramona accepts Scott’s offer to “hangout.” That’s when his problems with the evil exes start. So Scott has to essentially “defeat” each ex-boyfriend the same way he would have to defeat a boss at the end of a video game.
Charlyne Yi embarks on a quest across America to make a documentary about the one subject she doesn't fully understand: Love. Weaving together reality and fantasy, Paper Heart combines elements of documentary and traditional storytelling to get at modern romance. He's displayed the same characteristics in every role. That being said, Paper Heart wasn't a film I was too hyped about seeing. Faux-documentary starring musician/comedian Charlyne Yi as herself questioning, "Does true love exist? By now, all movie-goers are familiar with the quirky, romantic comedy and the mockumentary.
Let me start off by saying, "I don't like Michael Cera." Awkward. " Along the way, Yi meets with that loathsome robot of an actor Michael Cera, also playing himself. And Paper Heart does fall prey to an all-too-familiar style. It progresses just like a normal romantic comedy would. As Jamie travels in Chile, he invites an eccentric woman to join his group's quest to score a fabled hallucinogen, a move that finds him at odds with his new companion, until they drink the magic brew on a beach at the edge of the desert. Paper Heart will be enjoyable for its target audience and may even be a good movie for adult couples to see.A mattress salesman finds his plan to adopt a Chinese baby augmented by the arrival of a young woman, who comes into his workplace, falls asleep on one of the beds, and starts to affect his life upon waking up. Love is a game of risk taking and can't be explained by anybody. And if you liked Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (I did not) or Juno (One great of '08) or just want to enjoy a cute little love story then take a chance on Paper Heart. I think if Charlyne ever falls in love - she'll keep it very close to herself. I don't think she's gonna make it public to anybody. So why do you want to make a documentary about love then? And we're all a bit skeptical, but I don't want to end up a lonely old spinster. So we're gonna go on the road and talk to people and hear their stories and see if that changes the way you think about love. And what they want and what the other person wants... So going back and looking at that, maybe she was the true one love.
